El tiempo es un recurso no renovable porque es irrecuperable.

Nadie puede agregar un minuto más al día de hoy, y tampoco se puede regresar al día de ayer. Quizá usted se haya preguntado: Si todos los seres humanos contamos con el mismo tiempo, ¿por qué sólo algunos logran más que la gran mayoría? ¿Qué habilidades poseen esas “personas privilegiadas” para lograr más cosas que los demás? ¿Cuál es el secreto para aprovechar más el tiempo?

La clave está en decidir entre “invertir o gastar el tiempo”.

Cuando una empresa realiza inversiones aumenta el valor de sus activos. La empresa incrementa su valor por las inversiones en maquinaria, tecnología, instalaciones, etcétera, que en el futuro darán mayores ingresos: se trata de bienes productivos; en cambio, los gastos son acciones pasivas e improductivas para la organización.
